Who I Help
Life doesn't always go to plan, and it often helps to talk things through with someone non-judgemental, outside the situation.
I work with people facing:
-
Anxiety and depression that feels hard to switch off.
-
Relationship difficulties.
-
Stress and burnout, whether from work, study, or life in general.
-
Major life transitions (new job, retirement, separation)
If you're not sure whether counselling is the right fit for what you're going through, that's a completely normal place to start. Feel free to get in touch and we can talk it through.
How I practice.
I hold a Bachelor of Counselling and am a provisionally registered member of the NZCCA, with four years in practice drawing on Solution Focused, Person-Centred, and ACT approaches.
Our sessions are confidential, non-judgemental, and shaped around you, not a formula. I listen closely and help draw out the strength and motivation you already have, so the path forward is genuinely yours.
I came to this work after finding real value in my own counselling, and it's been the most rewarding work I've known since.

In Person or Online, Your Choice
I'm based at Wairoa House, 100 Kaimanawa street Taupo, and see clients in person there. I also offer online sessions by video call, so if you're anywhere else in New Zealand, or simply prefer the convenience of connecting from home, that option is available too.
Some people like to start online and move to in-person later, or the other way around. Whatever works best for you is fine with me.
